This walk takes One of the world's most stunning glaciers. This site can be seen very well by walking to the Unesco heritage trail but must be completed by a fly over as it is so huge that you can only realize it's size through a flight. Helicopter is of course great but expensive. Hard to explain how large this glacier is. Our pilot did a great job of making sure we all had views of the ice, the blue glacial pools and the glaciers as they made their way down the fjord.
Now, Ive seen a few glaciers in my time, but nothing as spectacular as this! You need to be fairly fit to withstand the journey there, which Id say was a tad more than bumpy!. However well worth it.
