We were in Copenhagen for a few days prior to a Baltic cruise. Always look for interesting dining venues when traveling and discovered Cassiopeia hiden away on a lake. When you find it don't be put off by the entry as when you get upstairs We ate both lunch and dinner there.
These people care about what they do. They take great care over the food and presentation. The tomato soup with dill froth, seeds and black oil is delicious.
The cheeseboard has wonderful dark crispy crackers. Grilled chicken or Visited with family and had the set menu of 5 courses. The first 3 were starters served at the same time not sure it really qualifies as 3 courses. Anyway - delicious and main course fish as well.
Desert a bit strange licorice ice cream Do not be fooled by the rather dull entrance next to the Tycho Brahe Planetarium, as seen from Gammel Kongevej. The restaurant, and in particular the terrace area looking out across the lakes is fantastic. We had an evening dinner that was delicious and when Delicious food at a very nice and quiet spot in Copenhagen. No cars and buses, but ducks and swans make up for the traffic.
Excellent dishes, very pleasant and attentive service. We had a wonderful evening. I celebrated my graduation there, the staff was amazing, the waiter was so kind and patient and made sure we were satisfied with everything! The scenery and the atmosphere are amazing for any occasion.
